# Connecting RMC controllers with Ignition

Ignition is a popular development platform for developing connected applications for SCADA and MES scenarios, including development of HMIs. It is possible to connect Ignition applications to Delta RMC controllers using Modbus for integrating data bi-directionally on HMI screens and capturing and graphing trending data live or unattended.

Attached is a tutorial document with step-by-step instructions for a pair of connected projects in Ignition and RMCTools.
