# Converting from HYD02, M02AS, and M02AE to the RMC

Rockwell Automation is discontinuing the Allen-Bradley 1756-HYD02, 1756-M02AS, and 1756-M02AE motion modules in 2024. The RMC motion controllers are a good alternative for these modules.

**Sample ControlLogix Ladder Logic with AOI’s**  
This example Logix Designer project demonstrates one method of sending commands to the RMC in a manner similar to sending instructions to the HYD02/M02AS/M02AE, resulting in reduced conversion effort. The **Rockwell Analog to RMC Conversion.pdf** file above includes an addendum with an explanation of this example PLC code, which includes AOI’s.
