What is the impact of hysteresis in the hydraulic motion control?
In the motioncontrol,How much is the minimum hysteresis? Is there a standard?
In the designing process,How to conside it?
Hysteresis will cause “hunting” around the command position if the hysteresis is large.
Hysteresis will make it hard to control pressure or force without a little oscillation because the spool doesn’t move exactly like the controller wants it to.
It is best to have the hysteresis about 1% or less. Mechanical things are never perfect.
There is no standard.
If the valve’s hysteresis is less than 1% then I don’t worry about it.
There are other things in the system that will have tolerances greater than 1% that will limit performance.
