2 RMC75S-MA2 and 2 SSI sensor

I was done the 4 axes bending press that 4 vicker proportional valves and 2 MTS ssi sensor and 2 RMC75S-MA2.

  1. I was wiring one ssi sensor to clock+/-,data+/- of axis 0.
and, the data+/- of axis 0 was wiring to the data+/- of axis 1.
This RMC70 controller could read the feedback of 1 ssi sensor on axis 0 and axis 1.
  2. But, I was wiring one ssi sensor to clock+/-,data+/- of axis 0 on RMC 1.
and, the data+/- of RMC1 axis 0 was wiring to the data+/- of RMC2(another RMC) axis 0.
In this case, the axis 0 of RMC2 could not read the ssi signal from sensor.
  3. In the RMC100.
I was wiring one ssi sensor to clock+/-,data+/- of axis 0.
and, the data+/- of axis 0 was wiring to the data+/- of axis 1.
I was wiring one ssi sensor to clock+/-,data+/- of axis 2.
and, the data+/- of axis 0 was wiring to the data+/- of axis 3.
In this case, RMC100 could read the ssi signal from 2 ssi sensor.
Number 2, Why RMC2 axis 0 could not read the ssi signal of RMC1 axis 0 ?

The RMC SSI interface sends out a clock pulse and expects the transducer to send back the data pulses during the clocking.

The reason #1 and #3 worked is because the exact same clock pulse is sent out for both SSI interfaces on the same module. Therefore, when the data is returned, each SSI interface sees the data at the correct times in the clock pulse.

In #2, the clocks between RMCs are not synchronized, so it will not work.

Delta does have the SO module that can be used to transmit the SSI data from one RMC100/150 to another RMC100/150.
