I think the reason the RMC does not need this time is because the RMC interrogates the transducer once each loop time. This time is usually 1 msec, but can be changed to 0.5 msec, or even 0.25 msec. This corresponds to the Tp, and it is important that the monoflop time is less than Tp. Since 1 msec (or even 0.25 msec) is much larger than any common monoflop time, this parameter is not important.
