I have a RMC75E now, I want to know that could I limit the range of the virtual axis’ position ? I mean if Idefine the motion zone is 1.5 to 1.8, the virtual axis never exceed it.
I donot find the parameter about it, Can it be reached by program?
Yes, a virtual axis can have the positive and negative travel limits set, just like a physical axis. The settings are in the Axis Tools >> Axis Parameters window. See below:
In Primary Control Setup, you can set the limits for the virtual axis. Then, in the Halts >> Auto Stop Configuration, you can choose how the controller behaves when limits are exceeded. See the Halts Overview topic for a description of each of the halt options.
