Superimposed Sinusoidal Waves via Expressions

An easy way to create motion consisting of superimposed sine waves is to use virtual axes, add the target positions, and gear to that value. The disadvantage is that this uses up axes, and the RMC75 has a limited number of axes.

A more complicated method that doesn’t require additional axes is to use expression to make sine waves, add them, then gear to the sum. Attached is an example. The example is for the RMC200. Export and import the user program to apply to the RMC75 or RMC150.SuperimposedSineWavesViaCalculation.rmcproj (45.2 KB)
